Placed in Kuwait, in the heart of the Middle East on the shores of the Persian Gulf, lies a residence that seamlessly blends form and functionality in a sublime manner. The architectural plan displays an elegant overlay: a ground floor block houses an upper L-shaped floor plan. Upon entering the residence, a subtle path leads visitors to a reflecting pool. This harmonious introduction offers refreshment amidst the predominantly desert climate. Right at the entrance, a slatted panel creates a play of light and shadow, complementing the passage of vegetation through a strategic cutout in the slab. The materials used celebrate tradition and contemporaneity. Concrete skillfully merges with mashrabiya panels, harmonizing grey tones with wooden nuances - a distinctive feature of Middle Eastern architecture.
